This is the first year that Olivia Pearl can WALK in her annual Buddy Walk! We can’t wait for this day of fun that supports an organization that serves our family and that we love dearly!
Otis III is both shy and outgoing. He is very reserved, but when he gets to know you he is a ball of fun. Otis loves scary movies, art, rapping, collecting super hero figurines, and spending time with his family. Otis is also very competitive and ready to raise funds for an important cause.

Ayden is a 3 year old that is happy as can be, he loves music and dancing along to anything with a Good beat. He has overcome many obstacles but that does not stop him, he continues to work hard and impress us everyday. He has started preschool and made great improvements in his speech!
Riki is a fun-loving 5 year old who loves to dance and party so the buddy walk is one of his favorite events of the year. He loves to meet new people and hug everyone he can.
AJ is an 11 (soon-to-be 12) year old who lives a very busy fulfilled life. He loves to ride his bike, he swims, plays baseball, is in cheer, is in theater, choir and after-school sports at his school. He’s in 5th grade this year in his final year of elementary. He LOVES to cook (especially pizza)!!
Ehsan is a 28-year-old young man full of courage, kindness, and intelligence. He brings joy wherever he goes—whether traveling, listening to music, acting, or playing his favorite sports like bowling, volleyball, cornhole, and baseball through the Special Olympics. All year round, Ehsan proudly participates with the Down Syndrome Association of North West Indiana, surrounded by his friends and community.
Eloise is now 6 years old and in first grade! As most know she loves her mardi gras beads, she takes them wherever she goes (sometimes even leaving a trail of them). Her beads have always been her sensory input, her safety blanket, and so we are her Bead Brigade, here to support here in all that she does. Eloise loves the DSA, seeing her friends at play group, and all of the special events. We understand how important the DSA is, not just to Eloise, but to everyone involved.
River is 9 years old & in 4th Grade. He loves to sing & dance & also loves Football & Basketball. He gives the best hugs ever & his smile lights up the room. He is known as the Mayor at his school. River would love for you to come out & walk beside him & his buddies on October 19th. He can’t wait to see everyone & looks forward to his Buddy Walk every year!
Kristina is 36 years old and is living her life to the fullest. She enjoys spending time with her friends, hanging out at DSA and participating in all the different activities, and loves being involved in Special olympics! Kristina is also one proud auntie to her niece and nephews! Kristina enjoys participating in the annual Buddy walk every year! She works super hard all year round making bracelets and selling them to donate money back to the orginization to help with all the programs she participates!
